812 new cases of COVID-19, in over 43,600 tests in past 24 hours – Stiri pe surse

A number of 812 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been registered in the last 24 hours, in over 43,600 tests performed, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Thursday.

Of the 812 new cases, 22 were of re-infected patients, who tested positive more than 180 days after the first infection.

As of Thursday, 1,796,230 cases of infection with the novel coronavirus had been registered in Romania, of whom 10,696 were from re-infected patients, having tested positive more than 180 days after the first period of illness.

According to the GCS, 1,721,785 patients were declared cured.

At the national level, 10,901,832 RT-PCR tests and 5,667,859 rapid antigen tests were processed.
